Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SRVANT Control Plane or Telemetry Gateway, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access or use the services.

2. Description of Service

SRVANT provides an observability platform consisting of two components:

  • SaaS Control Plane: A centralized web console to manage routing rules, pipelines, and gateway configurations.
  • Telemetry Gateway: A stateless daemon or container that runs within your infrastructure to shape, sample, and route telemetry data.

3. Gateway Software License & Usage

Subject to these Terms, SRVANT grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, install, and execute the Telemetry Gateway software strictly within your own infrastructure (e.g., your VPCs or Kubernetes clusters) for the purpose of connecting to the SRVANT Control Plane. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or resell the Gateway software.

4. User Responsibilities & Data Liability

  • Zero Data Liability: You retain full ownership, control, and liability for all raw telemetry data (logs, metrics, traces) processed by the Telemetry Gateway. Because the Gateway operates entirely within your perimeter, SRVANT does not host, store, or have access to this data.
  • Compliance: You are solely responsible for ensuring that the data routed via the Gateway complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS where relevant.
  • Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Control Plane account credentials and API keys.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the SRVANT Control Plane or Gateway to route malware, conduct DDoS attacks, or distribute illegal content. Any abusive actions targeting the Control Plane infrastructure will result in immediate account termination.

6. Service Level Agreement (SLA)

The SaaS Control Plane is provided with a target 99.99% uptime. However, because the Telemetry Gateway runs on your infrastructure, SRVANT is not responsible for Gateway downtime caused by your hardware, network failures, or misconfiguration. Specific, binding SLAs are provided only to Enterprise tier customers as outlined in a dedicated Master Services Agreement.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SRVANT be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data (including dropped or misrouted telemetry data), use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the services.

8. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this site. Your continued use of the service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
